Who we are
Property Development Australia, ABN 40 920 167 214, is an independent property development consultancy based in Sydney, New South Wales, working with clients across Australia. In this policy, we and us mean Property Development Australia.

The information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer an enquiry and to deliver our services. That is usually your name, your company or organisation, your title, your email address, your telephone number, and whatever you choose to tell us about your property or project.
If we are engaged, we may also collect information about the project itself, including site details, financial assumptions and documents you send us.
We do not collect sensitive information as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

How we collect it
We collect information directly from you, through the enquiry form on this site, by email, by telephone, or in meetings. We may also collect information from public registers and published sources where it is relevant to a project we are working on.

Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, to provide development management, project management and advisory services, to communicate with you about a project, to meet our professional and legal obligations, and to keep our own business records.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who we disclose it to
Property development requires a professional team. Where a project requires it, we may disclose information to consultants, advisers, authorities, contractors and other parties engaged on that project, and to our own professional advisers.
We disclose only so far as the project requires, and we expect the same discretion from the parties we coordinate.

Disclosure outside Australia
Our email, file storage and website are provided by service providers that may hold data outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to see that the information is handled consistently with this policy.

This website
This site is built and hosted on Framer. Framer records basic, aggregated visit statistics so we can see how the site is used. The enquiry form sends its contents to us by email.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires, and then destroy it or remove the identifying details.

Access and correction
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it. Write to the address below and we will answer within a reasonable time. There is no charge for asking.

Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first and we will look into it. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
